In this episode, we begin a 2-week series sharing one of the most substantial and helpful conversations we have ever convened: “On Race in America: A Christian Response.”
It was held at Restoration Anglican Church in Arlington, VA back in 2017, but the themes and ideas raised by the panelists remain all-too relevant to our current context. The original seminar was over 2 hours long, so we’ve decided to break the conversation into 2 parts, shared over the next 2 weeks.
Rev. David Hanke, the rector of Restoration, and Rev. Erin Clifford, the moderator for the seminar, introduce the conversation and its origin. After their remarks, we will hear from Rev. Bill Haley of Coracle, Pastor Kendrick Curry of Pennsylvania Ave Baptist Church in Washington, DC, and Nikki Toyama-Szeto of Christians for Social Action.
Join us again next week as the conversation continues!
